Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Add milk and lemon juice to small bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes or while combining other ingredients.
  2. In a medium bowl combine all dry ingredients. Whisk together.
  3. Add curdled milk and egg to dry ingredients. Mix lightly, leaving clumps in batter.
  4. Heat skillet to medium-low temperature (4/10).
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto skillet for each pancake. Pancakes are ready to flip when bubbles appear and edges become rounded.
  6. Makes about 8 pancakes.
